1928 Ford Model A - for sale - I have a '28 Model A coupe turned roadster Hot Rod. It's a project car and has a custom 2x3 steel tube frame, split wishbones, 8" Rear with chrome radius rods & '35 Ford rear spring. It has a 283 sbc (yes it runs and you can hear it run), Edelbrock Intake, Carb & chrome side headers with mufflers. It needs brakes, wiring, steering, interior etc. but has a fairly straight body with newer fiberglass doors, new steel rumble lid skin and 'glass '32 ford style dash. Bill of Sale. 1928/29 Model 'A' Ford Utility Wagon

The car has been fitted with cast iron front brake drums and new wheel studs. Fully reconditioned 7 tooth steering box recently fitted. It has been converted to 12 volts and fitted with an alternator. The car is in sound mechanical condition and passed a recent "Warrant of Fitness." The car was used extensively by George Ray ( the previous owner) in Australia, touring the Australian outback. It has been around Australia and crossed the country several times, without any problems. The back of the body is long enough to sleep in, even if you are 6ft.
A fully reconditioned spare engine is for sale also. This is extra to the advertised vehicle price. This can be purchased separately once the vehicle has been sold. The spare engine has not been used. I am happy to take the sump off to show any prospective purchaser. I am happy to sell the engine separately once the car is sold, if the buyer does not want the spare engine.

The car has been accepted the NZ Vintage Car Club and has an ID No. It was used on the VCC Irishman Rally 2007, driving to and from the event from Hawea in New Zealand. The car is in Hawea at present.

1928 Model 'A' Ford Tudor.
The Tudor was rebuilt and first registered in 1982 and I bought it in 1984. The motor is sound and the paint work is good. Upholstery is in good condition. Driver seat has one worn patch. Toured around the South Island of New Zealand, and never had a problem. It has good tyres and a rack on the back for luggage or/and a push bike. It is right hand drive and the speedometer reads 16397 miles. Reluctant sale. Priced by the owner at $19,500.00 New Zealand.
