January 2008 1957 Cadillac Coupe deVille This is a beautiful vehicle that was featured in the September 1994 issue of Cars and Parts magazine. My uncle, who lived in San Francisco, was the second owner of this car. It was his baby as well as his daily driver from 1959 until he gifted it to me in 1984. With the exception of one trip to Las Vegas, he used this car for work and trips to Lake Tahoe and Santa Rosa, CA. The vehicle is in excellent mechanical condition and all components are operational. The exterior, interior and engine compartment are very nicely detailed. The engine and transmission have 24,000 miles on their respective rebuilds. The interior is original except for the seats having been reupholstered (in the original style) and the carpets replaced. The car was repainted in the early 1980's and has held up well due to having always been garaged. Recent additions include a re-cored radiator, rebuilt Hydrovac power brake booster, rebuilt master and wheel cylinders,rebuilt water pump and new tires. This car runs and drives like a Cadillac should. I have many pictures that are available upon request. My uncle also collected many extra parts over the years that are also available.
